Quantum Technologies. LLC is seeking an experienced software engineer to design and implement microservice-based JEE applications. You will work with Eclipse/VSCode and Atlassian tools for design, development, and testing, and present solutions at reviews with documentation aligned to the Government's lifecycle.

The role requires strong Java/Spring knowledge, Angular frontend skills, and cloud infrastructure understanding, with mentoring responsibilities in a distributed team.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's in CS or related field with 14+ years of experience or Master's with 12+ years.
• Provisioning and maintaining systems on AWS.
• Strong backend experience with Spring Boot.
• Experience with Java frameworks (Spring).
• UI development with Angular 19+.
• DB experience with Oracle and PostgreSQL.
• Hibernate, JMS, XML/JSON, SQL/JDBC.
• OOAD and object-oriented design skills.
• Understanding of infrastructure and cloud orchestration.
• Self-motivated, able to work in a distributed team and mentor juniors.

• Design and implement Micro Service Architecture JEE software applications.


• Use modern software engineering tools including Eclipse, VSCode, and Atlassian Suites for design, development, and testing the software.


• Present the solution at formal and informal design reviews, and document the design according to the Government's system lifecycle methodology.

Qualifications:

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related engineering field with 14+ years of technical experience or Master's and 12.


• Provisioning, operating, and maintaining systems running on AWS (or equivalent cloud providers).


• Solid experience with backend systems using Spring Boot.


• Java Frameworks such as Spring.


• UI development skills, specifically with Angular 19+.


• Database operations (Oracle and Postgres).


• Hibernate.


• JMS.


• XML, JSON.


• SQL, JDBC.


• Experience with object-oriented analysis and design techniques.


• Thorough understanding of infrastructure (firewalls, load balancers, storage, monitoring, security etc.) and have experience with orchestration to develop a cloud solution.


• High level of self-motivation, desire to deliver stellar solutions and willingness to work in a distributed team environment.


• Ability to lead and mentor junior level developers.


• Openness to working on all layers of the application.

Desired Skills and Experience

• Master's in Computer Science or related field.


• Familiar with OAuth.


• Developing 100% automating unit tests using SOAP-UI, Selenium, or equivalent tools.


• Software Configuration Management (SCM) tools (Git and Gradle/Maven).


• Load Balancing and Enterprise Service Bus frameworks (preferably under Cloud environment).


• Agile Scrum and possibly experience with leading a Scrum team as a scrum master or equivalent.


• Elasticsearch.
