Job summary

A growing technology company is looking for a full-time Java Developer in Houston, Texas. The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of experience in Java, web services development, and microservices architecture. Candidates should hold a Bachelor's degree or equivalent and must be U.S. citizens or authorized to work in the U.S. The role involves developing and deploying web applications while ensuring performance tuning and capacity planning skills are utilized. Strong knowledge of CI/CD processes is also essential.

Job Description

Preferred

• At least 7 years of experience in Java / J2EE, Springs framework, JSP, Junit, Jenkins.
• At least 7 years of experience in web services development using SOAP / REST.
• At least 2 years of strong hands-on development experience on Micro-services stack and CI / CD
• At least 3 years of experience in working for US Cable MSO IT systems
• At least 3 years of experience and ability to support Assessment phase and evaluate Design, Code, build / deployments etc relating to Microservices
• At least 5 years of experience in design, development and deployment of web applications in Tomcat, Weblogic.
• At least 3 years of experience in JDBC / Hibernate / iBatis, caching techniques
• At least 3 years of experience in performance engineering, capacity planning, and performance tuning.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 7 years of experience with Information Technology.
