Job summary

An IT services company based in Houston, Texas, is looking for a seasoned Java Developer with over 7 years of experience in software development. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in Java, web services, and Microservices architecture within US Cable MSO IT systems. Strong communication skills and collaboration ability are vital. This is a full-time position open to U.S. citizens and authorized workers. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Java / J2EE, Springs framework, JSP, Junit, Jenkins.
• 7+ years of experience in web services development using SOAP / REST.
• Strong hands-on development experience on Micro-services stack and CI / CD.
• Experience with US Cable MSO IT systems.
• Experience and ability to support Assessment phase and evaluate Microservices.
• Experience in design, development and deployment of web applications in Tomcat, Weblogic.
• Experience in JDBC / Hibernate / iBatis, and caching techniques.

• At least 2 years of strong hands‑on development experience on Micro‑services stack and CI / CD
• At least 3 years of experience in working for US Cable MSO IT systems
• At least 3 years of experience and ability to support Assessment phase and evaluate Design, Code, build / deployments etc relating to Microservices
• At least 5 years of experience in design, development and deployment of web applications in Tomcat, Weblogic.
