Job summary

Netguru is seeking a a mid-level Java Developer to join the client’s engineering team and contribute to the development of a SaaS platform used by enterprise customers. This is a B2B contract position with an hourly rate up to 30 EUR/h (net, invoiced).

Work hours are 14:30 to 22:30 CET, with flexibility for ±30 minutes. You will work alongside Netguru and the client to deliver backend features, integrate with ERP systems, and provide insights to customers.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of backend development experience with Java and Kotlin.
• Strong object-oriented programming fundamentals in Java.
• Experience with Spring Boot and RESTful API design.
• Familiarity with SQL and relational databases.
• Comfortable working independently during off-standard hours.
• Clear communication and collaboration in distributed, international teams.
• Professional working proficiency in English (spoken and written).
• Exposure to SaaS products, startups or customer-facing development.

Job description

We are looking for aMid-level Java Developerto join our client’s engineering team and support the development of a SaaS platform used by enterprise customers. This role requires working in close collaboration with both Netguru and our client’s teams, acting as a fully integrated contributor within the client’s software organization.

This is aB2B contractposition.
Hourly rate: up to 30 EUR/h(net, invoiced).

Responsibilities

• Perform development work as part of the client’s software engineering teams

• Support the client’s developers in daily tasks and project work

• Provide assistance to the client’s customers during US working hours

• Monitor and resolve critical issues that arise outside of standard European hours

• Participate in regular team meetings and virtual team events

• Integrate with the client’s wider developer community

• Contribute to the ongoing development of the client’s SaaS solution, including:

  • Integrating with customer ERP systems to retrieve data
  • Analyzing data and delivering insights back to customers
  • Building and maintaining features within the SaaS application

• 3–4 years of experience in backend development with Java and Kotlin

• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and Java fundamentals

• Experience with Spring Boot and RESTful API design

• Familiarity with SQL and working with relational databases

• Comfortable working independently during off-standard hours

• Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate in distributed, international teams

• Professional working proficiency in English (spoken and written)

• Exposure to startups, SaaS products, or customer-facing development

• Current residence within the European Union is required.

• Experience with ERP system integration

• Knowledge of AWS or other cloud platforms
• Prior experience working in customer-facing support or issue resolution
