Red Global is seeking a skilled Java Developer with DevOps capabilities to bridge backend development and cloud infrastructure, delivering containerized deployments in cloud.

You will design and maintain backend services, collaborate with analysts and architects, and drive CI/CD via GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Kubernetes, and Azure. This remote role offers flexibility for work across the United States under a B2B contract.

Qualifications

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and evolve robust RESTful web services and system integrations.
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into scalable architecture.
• Write, execute, and maintain unit and integration tests (JUnit, Mockito) to ensure clean code standards.
• Perform code reviews and support deployments across testing and production environments.
• Monitor performance, analyze logs and metrics, and troubleshoot incidents.
• Drive CI/CD pipeline enhancements and automate build, test, and release processes using GitHub Actions, Kubernetes, and ArgoCD.

Your Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and cross-functional teams to translate technical and business requirements into scalable architecture.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience in Java and core frameworks (Spring Boot, REST API development).
• Solid understanding of design patterns, Clean Code principles, and software development best practices.
• Proficiency in relational databases, SQL, and data integration strategies.
• Proven track record with testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito) and version control (Git).
• Experience in software delivery within Agile/Scrum environments.
• Practical experience or strong working knowledge of Microsoft Azure services for application hosting and monitoring.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (specifically GitHub Actions) and GitOps principles using ArgoCD.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes architecture and container management (Docker/K8s).
• Mindset focused on process automation, root-cause incident analysis, and application performance tuning.
