Job summary

Bonapolia is hiring a Senior Java Developer to join a global technology ecosystem that advances Generative AI, cloud transformation, and analytics. You will tackle backend challenges with Java and Spring Boot, working with distributed teams and client stakeholders.

The role requires upper-intermediate English, a B2B engagement, and flexible remote work across Europe. Start in January, for a minimum 12-month engagement, with 0.125 FTE internal alignment and client-provided equipment.

• Develop and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot
• Design scalable and reliable software solutions
• Collaborate with distributed teams throughout the software development lifecycle
• Use AI tools to accelerate delivery and solve technical challenges

Technology Stack:

Java, Spring Boot, AI tools, Generative AI and prompt engineering

Interview stages:

• English check (15 minutes)
• internal technical interview (1-1,5 hour)
• client interview (1 hour)
• client interview – cultural fit (45 minutes)

Additional notes:

The candidate must be employed in company at 0.125 FTE under UoP (employment contract) and additionally under a service contract (B2B or mandate contract). Payment terms — up to 60 days. Work will be performed using client-provided equipment.
