Job summary

Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. in Atlanta, Georgia invites a Java Developer to join a technology team building ICE Bonds platforms such as TMC, ICE Select and ETFHub. You will design, implement and support scalable Java applications in a fast-paced financial services environment.

The role requires strong Core Java, multi-threading, Spring, REST and messaging with JMS/ActiveMQ, plus scripting skills. You will collaborate with product managers, QA and developers to deliver a world-class trading

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 3+ years professional software development using Core Java.
• Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
• Experience with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, REST, JPA, JMS, ActiveMQ.
• Proficient in scripting (Bash/Perl/Python) and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow team guidelines for quality and consistency.
• Handle builds and deployments independently.
• Create software tests and verify quality.
• Provide production support during and after hours.
• Provide support for deployments during maintenance windows.
• Identify opportunities to improve and optimize applications.
• Collaborate with product management on new requirements.
• Follow software development processes and standards.
