Job summary

Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. is seeking a Senior Developer to design, implement and support ICE Bonds platforms. You will work with teams across BondPoint and ICE Select to deliver a market-leading trading platform.

The role requires strong Core Java, multi-threading, and distributed system design, plus experience with Spring, REST, JPA and RabbitMQ. Collaboration with product managers and QA is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field
• 5+ years of professional Java development
• Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms
• Experience with Spring, REST, JPA, RabbitMQ
• Experience with multi-threading, JVM and GC
• Experience in distributed event-driven systems
• Scripting with Bash or PERL
• Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences

Responsibilities

• Follow team guidelines for quality and consistency in design and development phases
• Independently handle builds and deployments
• Create software tests and verify functionality
• Create design documentation for software development and versions
• Provide production support during and after business hours
• Support deployments during maintenance windows
• Identify opportunities to optimize applications
• Collaborate with product management on new requirements
• Follow company software development processes and standards
