Job summary

Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. (ICE) is seeking a Java Developer to join our technology team working on ICE Bonds platforms such as TMC, ICE Select and ETFHub.

You will design, implement and support scalable Java applications in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of professional Core Java development, strong knowledge of data structures, and experience with Spring, REST, JPA and messaging.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field
• 3+ years Core Java development
• Data structures & algorithms
• OO design & design patterns
• Core Java threads, collections, JVM, GC
• Spring Boot, REST, JPA, JMS, ActiveMQ
• Scripting (Bash/Perl/Python)
• Strong communication skills

Responsibilities

• Follow team guidelines for quality and consistency in design and development.
• Handle builds and deployments for projects.
• Create software tests and verify functionality.
• Provide production support during business hours.
• Support deployments during maintenance windows.
• Identify opportunities to optimize applications.
• Collaborate with product management on new requirements.
