Location: Newark, DE
Pay Range: $60-$65/hr
Provide technical leadership, direction, and oversight to development teams delivering scalable, high-quality enterprise applications.
Lead the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of complex applications aligned with business objectives and technology strategy.
Establish technical architecture and design standards, and guide teams through the full software development lifecycle.
Review code quality and ensure adherence to engineering best practices, security standards, and organizational development policies.
Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to translate requirements into effective technical solutions, including integration and performance considerations.
Core Java and enterprise development experience, including high-volume, enterprise-scale application delivery.
Strong experience with Java/J2EE and distributed system development, with solid Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) fundamentals.
Experience with Java design patterns and strong coding standards, including code review practices.
Spring Framework expertise including Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring Integration, and Spring Data JPA.
API and integration development experience, including building and consuming RESTful web services (REST/JSON standards) and familiarity with SOAP web services.
Opportunity to lead architecture and design standards while mentoring development teams.
Work on complex enterprise applications with a focus on security, quality, and maintainability.
Hands-on involvement in monitoring and production support using observability tools such as Splunk and Dynatrace.
Use modern development workflows, including GitHub Copilot, with a focus on validating AI-generated code for correctness, performance, security, and enterprise standards.
Contribute to end-to-end delivery, from requirement translation to implementation, integration, and ongoing maintenance.
