Job summary

Brooksource is seeking a Java Developer to support enterprise applications, APIs, and cloud services. The role blends hands-on Java development with AWS, microservices, and containerized environments.

You’ll work across codebases, build integrations, and collaborate with technical and business teams on secure, scalable solutions. The ideal candidate will have Java/J2EE, API design, SQL with Hibernate/JPA, and experience deploying in AWS using Docker and Kubernetes, plus CI/CD and IaC practices.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Java/J2EE and EJB experience in enterprise apps.
• API design/development with REST/GraphQL and microservices.
• SQL and ORM with Hibernate/JPA in relational DBs.
• AWS deployment using Docker and Kubernetes; CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain enterprise applications and mid-tier services with Java/J2EE/EJB.
• Design/build RESTful or GraphQL APIs; support microservices and event-driven architectures.
• Work with SQL and ORM (Hibernate/JPA); manage relational databases.
• Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot in AWS using Docker/Kubernetes.
• Support CI/CD, IaC, testing, and release activities; collaborate across teams.
• Assist IAM, access control, auditing, and SoD remediation as needed.
