The role focuses on building efficient software, collaborating with cross-functional teams, applying security best practices, and delivering reliable solutions while staying current with industry trends and AI-assisted tooling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years of related experience or completion of United DT Early Career Digital Leadership Program (ECDLP).
• Proficient in Java, Spring Boot, AWS, and NoSQL (DynamoDB preferred).
• Rules engine knowledge (e.g., Drools).
• Problem solving and attention to detail.
• Effective communication (verbal + written).
• Eagerness to learn.
• Advanced SDLC and development pattern knowledge.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Successful interview and reliable attendance required.
• Master’s degree.
• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Exposure to Dynatrace, Github Copilot, Harness, CI/CD tools, Jira.
• AI assisted automation experience.
• Agile Methodologies.
• HTML, JavaScript (Angular 2.0+, JS), CSS.
• SQL, Oracle, Relational DB experience.
• Microsoft Office tools, PowerPoint, Excel.
• DevOps experience.
• Infrastructure knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design, develop and modify software applications/systems.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver solutions.
• Utilize AI tools and automation to improve productivity.
• Provides support to the software development leads (Ex: Senior Developer).
• Works on one or more moderate to complex projects.
• Applies security code best practices throughout development cycle.
• Contributes to software documentation and user manuals.
• Complete comprehensive unit testing on all developed/enhanced software and supports deployment of software applications.
• Participates in code reviews to ensure code adheres to standards.
• Support and troubleshoot software systems as required, optimizing performance, resolving problems, and providing follow-up on all issues and solutions.
• Stays up to date on the latest industry trends and technology.
