Job summary

IntelliDyne, LLC is seeking a Java Developer in Washington, DC to support enterprise and government systems. The role requires 5+ years of Java experience, strong Java proficiency, and a Secret clearance eligibility.

You will work on API integrations, Spring/Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA, and CI/CD pipelines in a compliant environment. The position emphasizes secure coding practices, cross-functional collaboration, and delivering scalable, maintainable software within a regulated setting.

Qualifications

• Secret clearance, TS eligibility required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of Java development experience with strong Java (JDK 8+).
• Strong understanding of OOP principles.
• Experience with Java Collections, multithreading, and exception handling.
• Hands-on Spring/Spring Boot experience; Hibernate/JPA for DB interactions.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and API integration; Eclipse IDE.
• Familiarity with IntelliTrack/Entellitrak platforms.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment.
• Experience supporting government/enterprise systems.
• MS technology stack familiarity: .NET, C#, VB; SQL Server/T-SQL.

Position Overview

We areseekinga highly motivated and detail-oriented Java Developer to support the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise-level and government systems. The ideal candidate willpossessstrong Javaexpertisealong with experience in complementary technologies within a structured, compliance-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, andmaintainscalable Java-based applications supporting government and enterprise systems

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, QA, and system administrators to deliver high-quality solutions

• Develop and integrate APIs to support interoperability and secure data exchange

• Contribute to system architecture, technical design, and documentation efforts

• Ensure application performance, security, and reliability through adherence to best practices

• Support application deployment through CI/CD pipelines and automation tools

• Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve system defects and production issues

• Ensure compliance with government standards, policies, and security requirements

Required Qualifications

• Secret clearance, TS eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical field

• 5 yrs of experience in Java development with strongproficiencyin Java (JDK 8 or higher)

• Core understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles

• Experience with:

• Hands-on experience with Spring and Spring Boot frameworks

• Experience with Hibernate/JPA for database interactions

• Familiarity with API integrations (RESTful and web services)

• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes

• Experience supporting enterprise-level or government systems

• Working knowledge of Microsoft technology stack, including:

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with reporting and UI tools such as Jaspersoft Studio and DevExpress

• Familiarity with hybrid technology environments integrating Java and .NET solutions

• Experience working in Agile or hybrid development environments

• Knowledge of secure coding practices and government compliance standards (e.g., NIST, FISMA)

• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git

• Experience with relational databases and data modeling
