Qualifications

We are seeking a skilled engineer to design, develop, and maintain high-performance Java microservices using Spring Boot, deployed on cloud Kubernetes platforms. The ideal candidate will have experience building event-driven architectures with Apache Kafka, developing RESTful APIs following OpenAPI standards, and designing scalable data models across both relational (SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and non-relational (Cassandra, Redis) databases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Java microservices on Spring Boot, deployed in Kubernetes cloud environments
• Build and optimize event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka for real-time data pipelines and asynchronous workflows
• Develop RESTful APIs adhering to OpenAPI standards, ensuring backward compatibility and disciplined versioning
• Design and optimize relational and non-relational data models for scalability and performance
• Write clean, testable code with a minimum of 80% unit test coverage; integrate with CI/CD pipelines
• Monitor, triage, and resolve production incidents, focusing on root cause elimination and SLA adherence
• Participate in code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and champion engineering best practices across the team
