Job summary

You will collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to design and implement high‑quality software components, and you will lead unit testing and code reviews. The position requires 10+ years of Java experience, expertise in Core Java, Java EE, Spring Boot and Spring Microservices, and strong knowledge of multithreading, JPA, and Hibernate.

Job description

Immediate need for a talented Java Developer. This is a 06+ Months Contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Rutherford, NJ (Onsite).

Pay Range: $100 - $105/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to perform detailed requirements analysis.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• 10+ years of experience in Java development.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong expertise in Core Java, Java EE, Spring Boot, and Spring Microservices architecture.
• In-depth knowledge of Multithreading, Concurrency, JPA, and Hibernate.
• Proficient in using Eclipse or IntelliJ.
• Familiarity with Python, PySpark, and working in a Big Data environment is a plus.
• Understanding of event-based architecture, JMS, and relational databases (Oracle).
• Knowledge of agile/waterfall development methodologies and test-driven development practices.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong leadership, communication, time-management, and negotiation skills.
