Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer with 10+ years of experience in developing enterprise-level server-side applications using Java/J2EE technologies. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Core Java, Spring, Hibernate, application architecture, design patterns, web services, and database technologies.

The candidate will work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and global IT teams to deliver robust, scalable, and high-quality technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and global IT partners to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Understand and follow system architecture and integration design standards aligned with platform strategies and business goals.
• Develop stable, robust, scalable, and business-oriented technical solutions.
• Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate project requirements.
• Perform hands-on coding, development, and test coverage.
• Participate in sprint grooming, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and other Agile ceremonies.
• Stay updated with development best practices, tools, approaches, and testing strategies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in enterprise server-side application development using Java/J2EE technologies.
• Excellent programming skills in Core Java, Spring, and Hibernate.
• Strong understanding of software design principles and Design Patterns.
• Hands-on experience with:
• Java/JEE, Spring, ORM/Hibernate
• XML, XPath, and XSLT
• RESTful Web Services and SOAP
• Apache Tomcat or other web servers
• JSON and XML data formats
• Experience with JUnit and profiling tools such as JProfiler/JProbe.
• Strong SQL query-writing skills; experience with Sybase or DB2 is preferred.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies and DevOps integration.
• Exposure to JIRA or other ALM tools.
• Experience using AI tools and models.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and planning skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Desired Skills

• Proficiency in Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• Knowledge of financial markets, banking products, and wealth management.

Knowledge of Unix/Linux development environments.
