Pyramid Consulting, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Python Developer on a 24-month contract located onsite in Jersey City, NJ and Charlotte, NC. The role demands strong Python expertise, experience with microservices, and hands-on work with databases including NoSQL.

The client operates in the financial sector and seeks professionals who deliver robust, scalable services. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Mathematics, familiarity with CI/CD processes,

Immediate need for a talented Python Developer. This is a 24 months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Jersey City NJ/Charlotte NC (Onsite).

Pay Range: $65 /hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Must have skills: - Python, SQL, Microservices
• Expertise in functional and object-oriented programming, specifically in Python
• Experience in databases (relational/document/etc.) including NoSQL databases
• Strong in Algorithms and Data Structures (Good to have)
• Experience building distributed and scalable complex services as well as robust micro services
• Experience in writing unit tests in pytest or unittest
• Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation
• Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and a passion for learning and problem solving
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Math
• Previous experience with Quartz is helpful, but it is not a must.
