Job summary

Solü is seeking a Java and Database Developer to join our client’s team, focusing on Java development, relational databases, and enterprise integrations. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of hands-on experience with SQL, stored procedures, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, REST APIs, and on-call production support.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of professional experience developing and supporting Java applications and relational databases.
• Significant hands-on experience with SQL, stored procedures, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, REST APIs, and enterprise integrations.
• Experience with Java 21, Spring Boot 3.x, Spring Batch, JDBC/JPA, file/FTP integrations, and job monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Develop, debug, maintain, and tune SQL, stored procedures, views, triggers, and related database logic.
• Develop and maintain Spring Boot services, REST APIs, and batch processes.
• Support Java 21, Spring Boot 3.x, Spring Batch, JDBC/JPA, and enterprise integrations.
• Investigate issues, data discrepancies, and production incidents, including weekly on-call rotation.
• Support IBM MQ, APIs, messaging, file-transfer, and scheduled workflows across systems.
• Diagnose defects and refactor code without disrupting business behavior.
• Improve performance, logging, availability, and recovery across database and Java components.
• Test, debug, and validate changes before release; collaborate with analysts, DBAs, developers, and operations.
