Solü Technology Partners is seeking a Java and Database Developer to join our client’s team in the Cumberland County area. The role emphasizes Java development, relational databases, and enterprise integrations supporting court case management exchanges with external agencies.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of experience, strong SQL, stored procedures, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, REST APIs, and related tools.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional experience developing and supporting Java applications and relational databases.
• Strong hands-on SQL, stored procedures, views, triggers, and data reconciliation.
• Experience with Spring Boot, Spring Batch, REST APIs, and enterprise integrations.
• Telework up to two days per week after initial training may be available.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and participate in on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Develop, debug, maintain, and tune SQL, stored procedures, views, triggers, and related database logic.
• Develop and maintain Spring Boot services, REST APIs, and batch processes.
• Support Java 21, Spring Boot 3.x, Spring Batch, JDBC/JPA, and file/FTP integrations.
• Investigate issues, data discrepancies, and production incidents; participate in weekly on-call rotation.
• Support IBM MQ, APIs, messaging, file transfers, and scheduled workflows across systems.
• Diagnose defects, refactor Java and DB code without disrupting business behavior or integrations.
• Improve performance, stability, logging, and recovery across DB and Java components.
• Test, review, and validate changes before release per procedures.
• Collaborate with analysts, DBAs, developers, and operations staff to deliver reliable changes.
• Troubleshoot production DB issues, data quality, and data reconciliation.
• Maintain documentation and communicate findings clearly.
