Job summary

Tapestry, Inc. in New York (Hybrid) is seeking a Java Developer with 5–7 years of hands-on experience to design, build, and scale Java applications using JDK 11+.

You will craft RESTful APIs, backend services, and cloud-ready integrations on AWS, while writing efficient SQL and maintaining strong Git workflows. Collaborate across engineering and product teams, participate in code reviews and architecture discussions, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced, inclusive

Qualifications

5–7 years of hands-on Java development.
Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices.
Proficient in cloud services (AWS) and SQL.
Strong Git version control experience.
Ability to write Bash scripts for automation.
Excellent collaboration and code-review participation.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications using JDK 11+.
Build and optimize RESTful APIs and backend services.
Develop cloud-ready apps and integrations using AWS.
Write efficient SQL queries and work with relational DBs.
Collaborate across teams from concept to deployment.
