Job summary

Pivotal Solutions in Jersey City, United States is seeking a capable software engineer to participate in building new modules and supporting applications using Java and Python. You will collaborate with product, testing, DevOps and data science teams to deliver robust software on schedule.

You will design and develop data pipelines to move data from on prem to the public cloud, propose AWS-based solutions, and ensure alignment with business goals and technical excellence.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree or equivalent experience required.
• Strong knowledge of Java and Python.
• Experience with AWS and cloud enablement preferred.
• Familiarity with GIT/Bitbucket, Maven and Jenkins.

Responsibilities

• Participate in building new modules and supporting the application using Java and Python skills.
• Propose software implementations using AWS skills to embrace modernization and support firm's Public Cloud Enablement and Adoption.
• Design and develop data pipelines to move data from on prem to public cloud.
• Active participation from requirements phase to design and build, ensuring quality deliverables on schedule.
• Work with product, testing, DevOps and Data Science teams to support all project phases.
