Job summary

Lynden Incorporated seeks a Mid-Level Software Developer to join our SeaTac-based IT team. You will design, develop, test, and support Java-based applications, integrations, APIs, and services for Lynden’s freight management systems. This is a hybrid role with 2 days onsite in SeaTac and 3 days remote.

You will work with Spring Boot, microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native architectures to deliver practical software that supports transportation and logistics operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 4+ years of software development experience in a business environment.
• Hands-on experience developing Java 17+ applications using Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
• Cloud experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes, preferably AKS.
• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, and source control best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, implement, and maintain Java-based applications, integrations, APIs, and services.
• Ensure high-quality software through clean code, unit tests, reviews, and standards.
• Analyze requirements and propose suitable technology solutions.
• Collaborate with customers, analysts, and developers to deliver technical solutions.
• Participate in architecture discussions and advise on new development and system enhancements.
• Provide training and post-installation support for users and IT staff.
• Manage multiple tasks and prioritize to ensure timely delivery.
• Troubleshoot defects, performance issues, and production incidents.
