Job summary

Lynden Incorporated seeks a Java-focused software developer to design, develop, test, and support Java-based applications for our freight management systems. The role is hybrid, with 2 onsite days in SeaTac and 3 days remote after training.

You will collaborate with IT and business teams, implement microservices, APIs, and cloud-native solutions using Java 17+, Spring Boot, Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure. 4+ years of experience required; bachelor's degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in CS/IT or related field.
• 4+ years of software development experience in a business environment.
• Hands-on Java 17+ with Spring Boot and microservices.
• Experience deploying cloud-native apps in Azure/AWS/GCP.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes; AKS preferred.
• DevOps, CI/CD, and source control best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, implement, and maintain Java-based applications and services.
• Ensure high-quality code via testing, reviews, and standards compliance.
• Analyze requirements and recommend technology solutions.
• Collaborate with customers, analysts, and developers to meet business needs.
• Participate in architecture discussions and guide buy-versus-build decisions.
• Provide training and post-installation support; manage multiple projects.
