Job summary

Freedom Technology Solutions Group is seeking a Records Transition and Integration Specialist to migrate PRL records from a legacy SharePoint site to FEITH Records Management and to extend a Java preprocessing framework for ingestion into the SV management system.

You will design, develop, and extend integration components, work with FEITH and SharePoint connectors, and collaborate with the ERMS team and stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• > TS/SCI with Polygraph
• Six (6) years of experience in software development/engineering
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science or related discipline
• Ten (10) years of additional software development experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree
• General understanding of Microsoft environments and enterprise collaboration tools
• Understanding of API calls, especially REST.
• Experience with parsing various file formats including txt, Excel, JSON, XML, and others.
• Experience with FEITH Records Management System or other COTS products.
• Strong hands‑on experience developing applications and integration solutions in Java, including object‑oriented programming, common software design patterns, and Java concurrency concepts.
• Experience designing and developing modular, reusable, and maintainable software components, with familiarity with Domain‑Driven Design (DDD).
• Experience using Gitlab for source control and Maven for Java project configuration and build management.
• Experience working with JFrog Artifactory or similar artifact repository tools to publish, retrieve, and manage software artifacts.
• Familiarity with SharePoint, including content structures and common workflows.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to onboard and train users on a new system.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with developers and product support teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain Java-based preprocessing components transforming and preparing records and metadata for ingestion
• Complete and extend the existing reusable Java preprocessing framework for modular, extensible data sources and formats
• Develop and maintain integration logic for SharePoint and other source systems using FEITH SharePoint Connector
• Integrate FEITH components within ingestion workflows and configure the new pre-publication module
• Troubleshoot ingestion and integration issues by analyzing logs, data, and system configurations; identify root causes
• Apply object-oriented design principles to create maintainable, reusable, and scalable solutions including cloud modernization
• Collaborate with Technical Lead, FEITH team, ERMS team, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and support rollout
• Conduct data ingestion activities including one-time migration into FEITH and future ingestion initiatives
• Create and maintain technical documentation of data flows, processes, and system designs
• Provide technical guidance and light user support to onboard users to new records management processes
• Familiarity with AWS, SharePoint, FEITH, Java, and data integration best practices
