Job summary

UST España & Latam is seeking an AI-Assisted Code Analyst to enhance code quality, optimize performance, and reduce technical debt. You will work with Java, Spring Boot, and microservices, leveraging AI tools like GitHub Copilot or Devin to accelerate analysis and documentation.

The role is 100% remote based in Spain, requiring at least 3 years of development experience and strong knowledge of backend technologies, APIs, and CI/CD practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of development experience in Java/Spring Boot.
• Experience with AI tools such as GitHub Copilot and Devin.
• Strong knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, APIs and Microservices.
• Knowledge of J2EE, JDBC and Maven.
• Familiarity with HTML and Oracle databases.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git and DevOps practices.
• Experience with security/quality tools (Fortify, SonarQube).
• English language proficiency at least B1/B2.

Responsibilities

• Develop specifications and deliver services and components for operation with teams.
• Document solutions in JIRA, Confluence, ALM.
• Analyze Java and Spring Boot apps to ensure quality, scalability and maintainability.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate code analysis, refactoring and documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering to identify performance bottlenecks and improvements.
• Support backend and frontend development best practices.
• Contribute to CI/CD processes.
• Manage requests to other production support teams.
