Qualifications

• 2–5 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Hands-on with enterprise web applications in Java.
• Strong knowledge of Java, Spring, RESTful APIs, and testing frameworks.
• Experience building backend features rather than just DevOps tasks.
• Familiarity with CI, automated testing, and Agile methods.
• Experience using AI development tools including Claude, Copilot, or ChatGPT.
• US work authorization without current or future sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and support features in a large enterprise web app.
• Build backend components with Java, Spring, and RESTful services.
• Translate requirements into technical specs and implementation plans.
• Create unit/integration/regression tests with JUnit and Mockito.
• Troubleshoot defects and production issues with durable solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, Agile ceremonies, and improvements.
• Collaborate with frontend, product, QA, and architects.
• Leverage AI tools to analyze requirements and generate code.
• Review AI-generated work for accuracy, security, and maintainability.
