Job summary

Infosys is seeking a Technology Consultant 2 in Irving, TX to contribute across the SDLC from requirements to implementation. The role focuses on Java/Spring Boot development, REST services, and microservices within a modern AI-enabled financial services context.

The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, perform design and code reviews, and help ensure robust, scalable software solutions. Travel or relocation may be required, and US work authorization is needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in software development using Java and Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience with Java 8, REST APIs, and Spring Security.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Document business requirements and participate in requirements elicitation.
• Facilitate software design discussions and document design decisions.
• Participate in coding and integrate features, maintaining system stability.
• Conduct code reviews and manage code repositories.
• Implement test strategies and coordinate bug fixes to ensure quality.
• Develop user training materials and support documentation.
• Assist in resolving production issues and prevent recurrence.
