Qualifications

• Hands-on engineer with strong backend focus
• Solid experience delivering enterprise applications
• Familiarity with full software development lifecycle
• Experience with secure, scalable systems in financial services is a plus

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications and microservices using Spring Boot.
• Build and enhance RESTful APIs for enterprise processes and service-to-service integrations.
• Develop backend logic, data access layers, and integrations using Java, Spring Boot, and Oracle Database.
• Write clean, secure, maintainable, and testable code per team standards and practices.
• Work with Oracle SQL, schemas, stored procedures, indexes, and query tuning to ensure data quality and performance.
• Participate in design discussions, API contracts, documentation, code reviews, and planning.
• Troubleshoot issues across development to production, including root-cause analysis and performance tuning.
• Support reliability, monitoring, logging, and production readiness for financial services systems.
• Collaborate with product owners, QA, DevOps, architects, and other developers to deliver business value in sprints.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and continuous improvement initiatives.
