Qualifications

• Hands-on experience developing RESTful API microservices using Java, Spring, Maven and OpenAPI 3.
• Strong understanding of core Java concepts.
• Solid understanding of Spring Boot, Spring Web, Spring Data (JPA/Hibernate), and Spring Security (OAuth 2.0).
• Experience with relational databases, preferably Oracle.
• Understanding of software design patterns and architectural principles.
• Knowledge of fundamental algorithms and data structures.
• Familiarity with asynchronous messaging systems (e.g. Kafka).
• Experience in the digital industry, ideally within banking, insurance, financial services, or management consulting.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments is highly valued.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to quickly understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Front-end development experience with frameworks such as Angular or React is highly valued.
