Job summary

Devopsroles is seeking a seasoned Java backend developer to design scalable services, focusing on high availability and performance. You will work on user systems, authentication, and open APIs within a microservices framework.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting production issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and continuously improving development processes and code quality. Experience with Spring Boot, Kubernetes, and AWS is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science or related field.
• 3–5+ years of Java backend development experience with a solid technical foundation.
• Proficiency in Java core technologies, incl. JVM, concurrency, collections, I/O, and networking.
• Familiarity with Spring Boot and Spring Cloud; experience in microservices development and governance.
• Experience in high-performance, high-concurrency systems with caching, async processing, rate limiting, circuit breaking, and thread pools.
• Proficiency with MySQL, Redis, Kafka, Elasticsearch and understanding their use cases.
• Understanding distributed system issues: idempotency, consistency, distributed locks, transactions, fault tolerance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to troubleshoot production issues independently.
• Familiarity with authentication/authorization mechanisms: OAuth2, JWT, SSO, RBAC, Session.
• Experience with Kubernetes including containerized deployment, service orchestration, auto-scaling, config management.
• AWS experience is a plus.
• Strong coding standards, documentation, and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Govern and tune performance in high-concurrency scenarios for stability and throughput.
• Develop core services including user systems and open APIs.
• Contribute to microservices design, modularization, and governance.
• Troubleshoot production issues and resolve complex problems.
• Collaborate with product, frontend, QA, and cross-functional teams for quality delivery.
• Continuously optimize development processes, code quality, and technical solutions.
