Job summary

Valiant Technologies LLC is seeking an experienced Java Backend Engineer to design, develop, and maintain microservices for healthcare data exchange and platform capabilities.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Java/JEE, Spring Boot, Node.js, RESTful APIs, Apache Kafka, and CI/CD, along with knowledge of DevOps, security, and infrastructure automation.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in Java/JEE and Spring Boot.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend microservices using Java/JEE, Spring Boot, and Node.js.
• Develop secure, scalable RESTful APIs.
• Implement event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka.
• Work with JSON for data modeling, validation, versioning, and backward compatibility.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines covering tests and deployment automation.
• Integrate security controls such as SAST, DAST, and dependency scanning.
• Apply 12-Factor principles, IaC, and configuration management best practices.
• Collaborate with Product, Architecture, Security, and DevOps teams.
• Ensure performance, security, availability, and compliance across healthcare integrations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend microservices usingJava/JEE, Spring Boot, and Node.js.
• Develop secure, scalable, high-performance, and resilientRESTful APIs.
• Implement event-driven architectures usingApache Kafka, including producers, consumers, schema evolution, partitioning, and consumer groups.
• Work withJSONfor data modeling, validation, versioning, and backward compatibility.
• Build and maintainCI/CD pipelinescovering unit testing, integration testing, static analysis, and deployment automation.
• Integrate security controls such asSAST, DAST, dependency scanning, image scanning, and secrets management.
• Apply12-Factor Application Principles, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and configuration management best practices.
• Collaborate with Product, Architecture, Security, and DevOps teams to deliver reliable backend solutions.
• Ensure application performance, security, availability, and compliance across healthcare integrations.
