Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Java Backend Developer with 4–5 years of hands‑on experience in backend application development and prior exposure to the BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance) domain. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in designing and developing scalable backend systems, APIs, and enterprise applications using Java technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain robust backend applications using Java technologies.
• Develop RESTful APIs and microservices-based applications.
• Participate in requirement analysis, technical design, coding, unit testing, and deployment activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, QA teams, and frontend developers.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards and best development practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application defects and production issues.
• Work on integration with third‑party systems and banking applications.
• Contribute to application architecture and system design discussions.
• Support CI/CD implementation and DevOps activities.

Required Skills

• 4–5 years of experience in Java backend development.
• Strong knowledge of Core Java, Java 8/11+, Collections, Multithreading, and Exception Handling.
• Hands‑on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, and Microservices architecture.
• Experience developing and consuming REST APIs.
• Good knowledge of Hibernate/JPA and ORM concepts.
• Strong experience with databases such as MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.
• Experience with Kafka/RabbitMQ messaging systems is preferred.
• Familiarity with Git, Maven, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems.
• Knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).

BFSI Domain Requirements

• Mandatory experience in Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) projects.
• Understanding of financial systems, payment processing, loan management, customer onboarding, transactions, or banking workflows.
• Experience working with secure and compliance‑driven applications.
