Job description

Java Backend Development Lead – 12–15 years of experience, hands‑on.

Banking payments experience required.

AWS experience – design and build apps on AWS.

Hands‑on coding; must clear a coding test.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of robust, scalable, maintainable backend systems.
• Lead database architecture and optimization, focusing on performance and data integrity.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design and implement integration solutions.
• Apply SRE principles to enhance reliability, performance, and availability.
• Utilize Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift for deployment and orchestration.
• Leverage Spring Boot to develop microservices and backend applications.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs with high performance.
• Write unit and integration tests using JUnit, Mockito, or PowerMock; ensure quality and security with Sonar, Fortify, and Web Inspect.
• Produce comprehensive documentation for each microservice, detailing architecture and design decisions.
• Participate in Agile processes: sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Proactively identify and resolve bugs and performance issues.
• Engage in database design and optimization for integration systems.
