Job summary

PNC invites applications for a Software Engineer (JAVA/Openshift/Kubernetes) to join the MIS Accelerator in Pittsburgh, PA or Strongsville, OH. You will develop, test, and deploy software, and build outer-facing APIs in a public cloud environment integrated with Salesforce.

Candidates should have strong Java and Spring Boot skills, experience with OpenShift/Kubernetes, API development, and good collaboration across cross-functional teams. This role supports QA and production issue resolution.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience deploying and supporting applications on OpenShift/Kubernetes.
• Primary experience developing outer APIs for customer integrations.
• Familiarity with reverse proxies in a public cloud environment.
• Working knowledge of JavaScript for virtual services.
• Commitment to best practices and clean coding standards.
• Ability to write clear, maintainable code with comments.
• Excellent communication and teamwork across technical and business groups.

Responsibilities
