Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 4+ years of translation/localization experience or in reviewing, copywriting, creative writing or equivalent experience.
• Native level fluency in Japanese and fluent English.
• Thorough understanding of the localization process.

Responsibilities

• Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy and meet provided standards.
• Creative writing of marketing content to engage customers.
• Proofread storefront descriptions.
• Report patterns of issues to help improve database and product performance.
• Test tools to provide feedback for improving efficiency and accuracy.
• Perform translations as needed.
• Perform review tasks as required.
