Job summary

Qualifications

• Applicants must be 16 years or older and eligible to work in the United States.
• Active enrollment at City Colleges of Chicago and enrolled in at least 6 semester hours.
• Pursuing an approved credential, degree, or certificate with satisfactory GPA.
• Successful completion of CCC Japanese 103 with B or higher, or JLPT N5 equivalent.
• Excellent attendance and willingness to participate in tutor training.

Responsibilities

• Provide general academic support, tutoring individual and small groups.
• Plan tutoring sessions using collaborative learning to enhance understanding.
• Encourage independent learning and build student confidence.
• Attend tutoring trainings and maintain session records as required.
• Support students in developing effective study skills and attitudes.
