Job summary

Plante Moran is offering an internship focused on auditing and tax with exposure to a wide range of service lines. You will work closely within a large firm structure while gaining hands-on training and mentoring from experienced staff.

Responsibilities include participating in audit and tax engagements, planning, testing, and reporting, and interacting with clients across corporate, partnership, and individual taxes. Fluency in Japanese and English is required.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented with strong problem solving, communication and analytical skills.
• Academic success with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree with accounting emphasis; or Master’s in accounting or tax.

Responsibilities

• Assist in various phases of audit and/or tax engagements.
• Assist in planning, testing, researching, and reporting activities.
• Work with audits, compilations, reviews, and financial statements.
• Engage in corporate, partnership, individual, international federal, and state & local taxes.
• Interact with staff and clients to develop business solutions.
