Applicants should pursue accounting degrees and aim to sit for the CPA exam, with expectations to return to school after the internship.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented leader with problem solving, communication, and analytical skills.
• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in accounting; or Master’s degree in accounting or tax.
• Academic success (a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0).
• On track to complete the requisite degree and supporting credits to sit for the CPA exam, with the goal of obtaining CPA license.
• This internship program is designed for students planning to return to school after the internship.

Responsibilities

• Participating in different phases of the audit and/or tax engagement.
• Planning, testing, researching, and reporting.
• Working with compilations, reviews, compliance, financial statements, and benefit plans.
• Engaging in corporate, partnership, individual, international federal, and state & local taxes.
• Meaningful interactions with staff at all levels and with clients.
• Experience with a wealth of business opportunities within a professional services firm.
