Job summary

Actus Consulting Group in Torrance is seeking a versatile communication designer to create websites, online ads, newsletters, logos, brochures, and print materials.

You will be responsible for a wide range of communication design tasks, from online marketing materials—such as website design, online ads, and newsletters—to graphic design work including logos, print ads, and brochures. In addition to design work, you will have opportunities to take on broader responsibilities such as planning proposals, direction, and project management.

Required Skills

• Bilingual in Japanese and English
• Someone who takes pride in their work, has a strong sense of responsibility, and enjoys working.
• Experience in UI design for websites and practical experience creating printed materials.
• Ability to use Adobe software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, and InDesign.

Preferred Skills

• Basic knowledge of UI/UX design and usability for websites and apps.
• Experience directing web production.
• Development experience with WordPress, Shopify, or Webflow.
• Experience creating project proposals and presentation documents.
• Experience in project management for website development and operations.

Other Preferred Qualities

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to take initiative in your work.
• Comfortable with trial and error and adapting to challenges.

Qualifications

• Legally eligible to work in the U.S., or currently holding a valid work visa.
• Strong communication skills in both English and Japanese.

Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Must be able to work in a Torrance Office.
