Job summary

Bankcard Services is seeking a Web Designer to plan, create, and code internet sites and web pages in support of brand and product communications. The role is based in Torrance, CA with an in-person schedule and a full-time commitment.

This position supports brand and visual design work while helping organize marketing presentation assets for internal use. You will coordinate with outside vendors to ensure timely production and distribution of marketing materials, and create rollout

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate Degree (with Certification) in Graphic/Web Design, Fine Arts or equivalent.
• 1-4 years of experience in advertising, publishing, design firms, marketing, and research.
• Korean and English bilingual proficiency required.
• Proficiency with current and emerging web technologies and standard design software packages, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and Indesign CS.

Responsibilities

• Develop integrated brand strategy, visual design concepts, product attributes, and iconography.
• Observe, receive, and obtain information from all relevant sources.
• Establish and maintain a centralized archive of presentations and marketing materials accessible to internal teams.
• Coordinate production and distribution of communications with outside vendors to meet due dates.
• Create and distribute rollout communications for product updates and enhancements, direct marketing programs, and sales tools.
• Provide excellent telephone etiquette.

Role Overview

This position supports brand and visual design work while helping organize marketing presentation assets for internal use. The Web Designer coordinates with outside vendors to ensure timely production and distribution of marketing materials, and creates rollout communications tied to product updates, enhancements, and sales enablement.

Responsibilities

• Develop integrated brand strategy, visual design concepts, product attributes, and iconography.
• Observe, receive, and obtain information from all relevant sources.
• Establish and maintain a centralized archive of presentations and marketing materials (including brochures, product fliers, and related communications) accessible to internal functional groups.
• Coordinate production and distribution of communications with outside vendors such as printers and mail houses to meet designated due dates.
• Create and distribute rollout communications for product updates and enhancements, direct marketing programs, and sales tools.
• Provide excellent telephone etiquette.
• Work independently with minimal supervision to complete assigned tasks.
• Arrive on time for scheduled hours and complete responsibilities within the expected timeframe.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Associate Degree (with Certification) in Graphic/Web Design, Fine Arts or equivalent.
• 1-4 years of experience in advertising, publishing, design firms, marketing, and research.
• Bilingual proficiency in Korean and English (Required).
• Proficiency with current and emerging web technologies and standard design software packages, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and Indesign CS.
• Working knowledge of MS Office and computer graphics and languages, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
