Actus Consulting Group seeks a Japanese Bilingual Senior Security Engineer, Professional Services to assess security for key customers and design robust security systems. You will implement and upgrade security technologies, coordinate pre- and post-sales activities, and travel for on-site deployments.

The role requires strong vendor knowledge (Cisco/Fortinet/Palo Alto), UNIX/Linux and Windows server admin, and fluency in Japanese and English.

Responsibilities

• Conduct security assessments for primary customers and design security systems

• Plans and coordinates sales of cyber security products with Sales & Marketing
• Performs on-site installation and troubleshooting (travel required)
• Prepares project records, reports, and handovers for customers
• Reports progress to team leaders and archives solutions for future reference
• Manages project delivery with vendors and subcontractors
• Researches products and market trends and verifies new technologies
• Prepares proposals and presentations for customers
• Documents operations to improve efficiency

Japanese IT company seeks a Japanese Bilingual Senior Security Engineer, Professional Services

Description of Overall Responsibilities

• Conducts security assessments for primary customers of the company, and designs security systems and processes.
• Builds, maintains, and upgrades security technology, such as log analysis, endpoint security, network security and so on, for the safe use of computer networks and the transmission and retrieval of information.
• Plans, coordinates, and implements the sales of new products and services in areas such as cyber security with Sales & Marketing Departments
• Performs installation and troubleshooting at site. (Required business trip.)
• Composes and issue work records and project records of installation and configuration for each customer.
• Reports the status of each project and troubleshooting progress to your team/project leader.
• Reports and archive actual solutions and countermeasures of troubleshooting for future reference.
• Controls project management for both pre-sales and post-sales.
• Controls projects, vendors and subcontractors for delivery and completion of projects on time.
• Performs product research and market trend analysis as requested by your team leader and verifies new technologies.
• Prepares written presentations, proposal and/or reports as requested by your team leader and performs presentation to customers.
• Prepares operations and procedures manuals in operating more efficiently and effectively.

• Maintain the following latest standards of technologies to provide appropriate IT and Security solutions to meet the customer's requirement.
• Microsoft, Citirx, VMware and other major software vendor's product.
• Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto and other major network vendor's devices.
• Unix/Linux, Windows server operation and maintenance.
• Security software and solutions for servers and PCs.
• Security Tools such as SASE, EDR, Vulnerability check and so on.
• Local and Wide Area Network technologies.
• Virtualization and storage technologies.
• Managed Service Provider (MSP), Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) Operation
• Secure configuration guidelines such as CIS Benchmark, etc.
• Proficiency in Japanese and English

This position reports to Manager, department of Professional Services. Others will be designated by President & CEO if necessary.
