Actus Consulting Group in Georgetown, KY seeks a Japanese bilingual Sales and Operation professional to expand existing accounts and develop new business in freight brokerage. This full-time role requires coordinating with carriers, customs, and logistics teams to ensure smooth freight movements, while negotiating rates and building profitable partnerships.

The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule (9am–6pm) with a pay range of $60K–$80K, and a path toward leadership as the operation grows.

Responsibilities

• Expand the existing account business.
• Develop the new business, new accounts.
• Develop customized proposals and pricing strategies to win new freight opportunities.
• Negotiate rates and terms with customers to close profitable deals.
• Collaborate with Steam shipping company and Airlines, warehouse, carrier sales, dispatch, and operations teams to ensure smooth execution of freight movements.
• Monitor market trends, spot rates, and competitor activity to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
• Provide weekly sales activity reports, pipeline updates, and revenue forecasts to leadership.
• Establish a high-performing and profitable freight brokerage operation and eventually take on a leadership role to guide and expand a team of top-performing freight brokers.
• Visit to customer, vendor, port, if necessary (Including weekends and holidays as needed).
• Providing other general support regarding shipping and logistics coordination as needed.
• Coordinating with Customs Broker and/or US Customs House as needed
• Maintain smooth communication with customers and respond promptly to their requests.
