Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in business strategy, planning, or related responsibilities.
• Bachelor's degree in pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, healthcare, management consulting, or related field.
• Experience driving complex cross-functional projects, business build-out, or organizational transformation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills, including planning, progress tracking, and risk management.
• Ability to build trusted relationships with senior leaders and across functions and drive alignment and execution without direct authority.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Japanese and English.
• Ability to prioritize independently and deliver hands-on work in a fast-paced environment, with sound judgment and appropriate handling of confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the GM to shape and drive key business and culture initiatives that advance Japan’s strategic priorities and bring company values to life.
• Analyze key business and organizational issues and recommend options and actions.
• Prepare materials for business reviews and reporting to regional and Global leadership.
• Lead priority projects delegated by the GM and represent Japan in relevant meetings within the scope of that delegation.
