Job summary

Neuberger Berman is hiring a Private Equity Analyst/Associate for its Japan Business Coverage Team in New York. You will manage investment planning for Japanese investors, prepare client materials, and coordinate meetings with cross-functional teams including Tokyo sales.

This role requires 2–4 years of relevant experience and fluency in English and Japanese. The role offers a discretionary bonus and comprehensive benefits, along with a challenging exposure to primary fund investments,

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of relevant experience in investment banking, private equity marketing/accounting/reporting, or placement agent background.
• English and Japanese language proficiency required.
• Visa sponsorship may be available for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities

• Manage investment planning and portfolio construction for customized separate accounts serving Japanese investors.
• Prepare and present materials, and coordinate onsite meetings for Japanese clients.
• Liaise with investment, legal, finance and Tokyo sales force to respond to RFPs and client inquiries, and deliver monitoring reports.
• Develop deep expertise across private investment strategies, acting as a product specialist for the Japanese sales team.
