Job summary

Neuberger Private Markets in New York seeks a Japanese Private Markets Manager to serve on the Japan Coverage Team. The role involves managing investment planning and portfolio construction for customized separate accounts with Japanese investors, and coordinating with Tokyo-based teams to respond to inquiries and prepare RFPs.

The position requires strong English and Japanese, 2–4 years of relevant experience, and offers a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance and retirement

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of relevant professional experience in investment banking, private equity marketing/accounting/reporting or placement agent.

Responsibilities

• Manage investment planning and portfolio construction for customized separate accounts programs with Japanese investors.
• Assist with production and presentation of investment materials, and organize onsite meetings for Japanese clients.
• Liaise with investment team, legal, finance and the Japanese sales force in Tokyo to prepare responses to RFPs and deliver monitoring reports.
• Build understanding of private investment strategies and act as a product specialist for the Japanese sales team.
