Job summary

Nesco Resource in Fort Branch, Indiana is seeking a reliable Janitorial Team Member to maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment across our facilities. You will perform routine cleaning, debris removal, and sanitation tasks to meet company standards for cleanliness, safety, and customer satisfaction.

This role requires following all procedures and safety protocols, supporting operations and teamwork, and participating in required training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Physical capacity to stand, walk, bend, lift, and carry cleaning equipment for the duration of the shift.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Routine Cleaning: Sweep, mop, dust, and remove trash across designated facility zones.
• Restroom Sanitation: Clean and sanitize restrooms, including sinks, mirrors, toilets, floors, and dispensers.
• Supply Management: Monitor and refill restroom supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
• Detailed Detailing: Clean vents, fixtures, entrances, thresholds, frames, and facility surfaces.
• Debris Removal: Clear dust, dirt, and debris from work areas to uphold strict sanitation standards.
• Safety & PPE: Follow all safety procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
• Compliance: Adhere to company cleaning standards, procedures, and customer site requirements.
• Team Communication: Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers regarding work progress.
• Workplace Organization: Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Instruction Adherence: Follow written and verbal instructions for cleaning assignments.
• Training: Participate in required training sessions and on-the-job training.
• Team Support: Foster teamwork and cooperate with other personnel to complete tasks.
• Timekeeping: Accurately clock in and out according to company timekeeping procedures.
• Professionalism: Maintain professional behavior with occupants and representatives.
• General Duties: Perform additional cleaning tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is a plus, but not required.
