Job summary

Summit Building Services in Grove City, OH is seeking a part-time supervisor to lead our janitorial team across commercial facilities. You will oversee day-to-day operations, coordinate coverage, train new staff, and ensure client requests are handled promptly.

Pay is $22.00 per hour with 30–40 hours weekly, Monday–Saturday evenings starting as early as 5pm. Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and be able to pass drug tests and background checks.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping, environmental services, commercial cleaning, or janitorial services.

Responsibilities

• Work with employees to handle all client requests or complaints promptly.
• Supervise, train, motivate and develop team members.
• Arrange for coverage in the event of an employee absence.
• Disciplinary action and retraining of employees when necessary.
• Perform regular inspections of buildings to ensure that specifications are being met.
• Correct deficiencies in buildings whenever necessary.
• Complete work tickets.
• Send reports to Area Manager.
• Recommendation of special project work when needed.
• Complete ongoing education to gain competency in their position.
• Carry out supervisory responsibilities by the company's policies and applicable laws.

Job Skills / Requirements

Summit Building Services is looking for a part time supervisor to join our janitorial team! We service commercial buildings in Logan, London, Delaware, Marion, Dublin, Hilliard, Grandview Heights and surrounding areas. You would be assisting with coverage, training new employees, detail work, and assisting with supply orders.

30-40 hours weekly : Monday-Saturday, varying schedule starting as early as 5pm

Pay: $22.00 hourly
