Job description

The Supervisor will ensure company standards are met in compliance with janitorial operations and servicing contractual obligations to customers within specified budget of labor and expense.

Assure that supplies meet budget goals for each specific job during each quarter.

Manage a staff of 20-30 employees.

Maintain contract specifications and ensure service quantity and quality meet client and company standards.

Process payroll and order office and janitorial supplies.

Perform safety and HR audits, interview and select new employees, and conduct job counseling and disciplinary actions in partnership with HR.

Check all work nightly and submit completion reports.

Assign tasks based on job requirements and customer requests.

Train new staff and provide ongoing training on cleaning methods, equipment use, safety practices, and regulations.

Perform daily quality control inspections.

Ensure payroll compliance with wage and hour laws and submit employee change forms as needed.

Assist in safety program compliance and ensure building adherence to all regulations and policies.

Utilize personnel management skills to resolve staff issues and determine material and equipment needs.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Minimum two years of supervisory experience managing employees.
• At least two years of janitorial experience in large commercial properties, stadiums, or arenas.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel & Word).
• Strong communication skills in both written and verbal English and Spanish.
