The 1st Shift Janitorial Supervisor (Bilingual) is responsible for quality control of general business operations, increasing client satisfaction, and working productively with Independent Contractors (IC). The 1st Shift Janitorial Supervisor (Bilingual) must be able to work independently and collaboratively in various facilities, including industrial, manufacturing, office, medical, retail, etc. They should exercise good judgment in reporting client concerns to management and involving others to meet client needs.

Essential Functions

1. Develop and maintain productive relationships with Independent Contractors (IC) and In-House labor by communicating client priorities and collaborating on problem-solving.
2. Review scope of work and ensure quality assurance per account to retain and grow business.
3. Communicate daily with Facility Solutions Manager about issues needing immediate attention, including via email or phone.
4. Make work assignment recommendations for ICs, manage to client standards and company guidelines, and discharge if service levels are not met.
5. Manage inspections, customer complaints, requests, new client starts, or VIP treatments.
6. Implement City Wide's policies such as New-Start, Customer Complaint, and Four Star Policies.
7. Ensure compliance with client policies, procedures, and proper use of tools and equipment.
8. Perform other duties as necessary.

Requirements

1. High school diploma or equivalent experience in commercial janitorial services.
2. At least three years of management experience, including coaching, motivating, developing, and leading teams across multiple locations.
3. Strong planning, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Innovative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
6. Proficiency in MS Office and Internet skills.
