Job Supervisor

The Supervisor will ensure company standards are met in compliance with janitorial operations and servicing contractual obligations to customers within the specified budget for labor and expenses.

Responsibilities include:

1. Achieving supplies budget goals for each specific job during each quarter.
2. Managing a staff of 20-30 employees.
3. Maintaining contract specifications and service quality to clients and the company.
4. Processing payroll and ordering office and janitorial supplies.
5. Performing safety and HR audits, interviewing and selecting new employees, and conducting job counseling and disciplinary actions in partnership with HR.
6. Checking nightly work and submitting completion reports.
7. Assigning tasks based on contract requirements and customer requests.
8. Training new staff and ongoing training for existing employees on cleaning methods, equipment use, safety practices, and regulations.
9. Performing daily quality control inspections.
10. Ensuring payroll compliance with wage and hour laws.
11. Completing employee change forms for HR.
12. Supporting safety program compliance through branch safety coordinators.
13. Ensuring building compliance with all relevant laws and company policies.
14. Applying personnel management skills to resolve staff issues.
15. Determining materials, supplies, and equipment needs.
16. Performing other duties as assigned or requested.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• At least two years of supervisory experience managing employees.
• Minimum two years of janitorial experience in large commercial properties, sporting arenas, or stadiums.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel & Word).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English and Spanish.
